The 2023 Onnit Black Friday sale was the first time I was Art Director for an entire disruptive campaign. My theme was retro gaming and most of the assets revolved around an old-school game cabinet. I put together all the lock ups and worked to create a deep library of various video game assets for the rest of the team to implement on their projects. I also worked to create a complex overlay to give simple vectors that awesome CRT nostalgic look. I packaged the overlay into smart objects to make it simple to use. Iām most proud of the stop motion project but this one took every ounce of my design ability. Motion graphics, vectors, heavy photoshop work, photo manipulation, and managing the teams assets. After all was said and done I believe this campaign turned out great and the sales figures agreed. Black Friday is a very noisy time of year, a bold look and a talented design team can really help cut through that noise.
